| An autumnal day, windy, clouds scudding with the odd glimpse of sun; greens still a bit bobbly with no 2s recorded for the second week running.There were a few more Crispies playing although one or two were around but not participating (minus handicaps?!). Kevin Snell won for the second week running with 42 points (and needs to report to the handicap secretary), from Ken Reid, Roy Miller (5 placements this season) and Martin Short. Keeping us all munching were adam-it-g, crash-landed, chastened, comb-over and linguishing. El Presidente asked the ed to remind everyone about the Crispy Dinner next Wednesday, 2 Nov, 6.30 for 7 pm. |
